The Joys of Winter Gardening

The warmer seasons have passed and winter is now here. But for those of you who love to be in the garden and keeping active have to now contend with the winter season, and all the marvellous weather to come with it; and on any given day it will present you with some pretty interesting challenges.

So you find yourself sitting by the window, staring out into the bare winter garden and are keen to get your hands dirty, but have already tried to venture outside and found it to be windy and too cold; going from the garden to the house to warm up, involves even more effort and you have to keep taking your Wellington boots on an off.

If not already, why not invest some money into getting a shed for your garden, you can get one that has some insulation and put a small oil radiator in there and turn it into a cosy potting shed; you can be sheltered from the elements and nice and warm, but still doing something you love.

Heck why not put a radio in there and a catering urn, and a few jars for the tea, coffee, and sugar, as well as your favourite mug, spoon, etc… (you can put the milk bottle/carton in a container outside the door of the shed, as it will be cold enough to keep it cool and fresh)

So if you need to venture out of the shed to do something in the garden, you won’t have far to venture to warm yourself up, and best of all you can keep your wellies on.
