Trying to find the most appropriate material for your garden furniture can be a tricky task. Here are some things to think about when considering wooden furniture.

Hardwood furniture can last you for a considerable amount for time. Especially when you treat the wood in the correct fashion it helps to improve the longevity.  Softwoods are typically much cheaper and do not get as hot as other materials. You however need to treat with oil so that UV rays from the sun don’t de-colour the wood. The oils also help against water seeping into the wood and causing it to split.

The great thing about wooden furniture is that it can be used all year round although using it in the snow would be a very cold endeavour. It would be essential to get the correct furniture covers to protect your tables and chairs against all variety of elemental configurations.
